ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ introduces a contemporary approach to classical Indian yoga for the modern mind, incorporating tantra, yoga, and meditation, while grounding in the spiritual and scientific principles of Sanatan Dharma.
ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ
A Contemporary Sanctuary for timeless Wisdom.
ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ is an ambitious vision—one that brings together seekers, artists, and spiritual practitioners from around the world to reconnect with the essence of Indian spirituality. Rooted in Sanātana Dharma, we aim to create a space where classical yoga, tantra, and meditation are approached with depth and authenticity, yet made accessible for the modern mind.
Our dream is to build a community—a sanctuary where Eastern wisdom and Western seekers meet in true exchange. A place where those drawn to deeper understanding can sit with sadhus, immerse in sacred practices, and experience a way of life that honours nature, sustainability, and self-realisation.
A Vision in Motion
While our permanent ashram in Himachal Pradesh is still in the early stages of development, ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ will begin its journey this October at Nath Ashram in Gopiganj (79HP+WR3, Gopi Patti, Uttar Pradesh 221310, India). This space will serve as our temporary home, allowing us to begin gathering a community of seekers, artists, and spiritual practitioners as we lay the foundation for our future sanctuary.
Building a Living Ashram, ŚRĪ MĀ is not just a place of practice; it is a living ashram—a space that evolves through the people who inhabit it. We envision:
An Eco-Farm & Gaushālā – A self-sustaining space rooted in satvic living, where food is grown with care and cows are honored as sacred nurturers.
Artist Residencies & Cultural Exchange – A meeting place for creatives, where painters, musicians, and writers can immerse themselves in the spirit of India and contribute their expressions of devotion.
A Bridge Between East & West – A home for seekers from around the world to experience India’s spiritual depth, while also offering a space where traditional wisdom meets new perspectives.

Gopiganj
Until ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ finds its permanent home, we are hosted by Nath Ashram in Gopiganj, run by the revered Akhanda Baba. Just 1 km from the sacred Ganga, this peaceful rural sanctuary is surrounded by open fields, wildlife, and simple village life, offering a quiet space for deep practice. Located between Varanasi and Prayagraj, it remains close to India’s great spiritual centers while immersed in nature. The ashram is home to a Gaushālā, where cows are cared for with devotion, and all dairy used comes from them in accordance with Sanātana Dharma, though vegan options are available. Life here is simple, guided by the rhythms of nature, with nourishing satvic vegetarian food prepared daily. Whether meditating by the river, walking through the fields at sunrise, or sitting with sadhus in contemplation, Nath Ashram offers a rare opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and experience the essence of spiritual living.
Join Us in Creating This Space
We are at the very beginning of this journey, and ŚRĪ MĀ YOGŚĀLĀ is an invitation to those who feel called to be part of something greater—whether through practice, participation, or support. As we work towards building our permanent ashram, we welcome those who resonate with this vision to walk with us, contribute, and co-create.
If you feel drawn to be part of this unfolding, we would love to hear from you.
